Germany should be scared of allied invasion

This group is giving the elite units of the Wehrmacht a run for their money. The 101^st airborne division, a group of paratroopers has battled its way through France, now with their eyes set on berlin Hitler should be scared of what these troopers can do. The 101^st started off in camp Toccoa one of the first places to train paratroopers. After passing a grueling training they moved to Benning and preformed wildly there, the best seen in ages. The group then moved to England for a short stay. England was preparing for the largest invasion of the war, and the 101^st was well on its way to joining. Just a while later D-day would arrive. The 101^st would be ready to invade Normandy. Landing at Omaha beach, easy company had issues off the bat when their plane went down taking their leadership with them. Easy fortunately had the brave lieutenant winters, winters took charge of the company and lead them to a very successful landing, regrouping and taking German positions. Easy company wasn’t done yet though as they continued after the landings taking on German forces all throughout France, before becoming garrisoned in Mourmelon for a while. The 101^st division is currently making its way through France, and the Germans should be scared, here is why. Since Normandy LT winters now XO winters has led this team through harsh fighting, if unable to deal with this Hitler is Going to take many losses. With the battle of the bulge stopped by the 101^st things seem bleak for the Germans. This division has such a major dedication to the war, that they don’t give in to the temptation that occurs to many others in the same position. Faced with brittle cold and severe weather, pinned down under fire, no men from the division caved, not one took a shot to the hand to avoid the fighting, they all stayed in and fought. this is the true spirit of a patriotic soldier, if every soldier was like a soldier from the 101^st we would have won this war in 1940, look out Hitler here they come.

the thing i like about band of brothers is probably related to the nonfiction aspect. unlike most WWII war stories the band of brothers book keeps an objective tone, and neither a pro nor anti war message. when i watch war movies like dirty dozen and such, they generally have a pro war patriotic message, or they are the gritty anti war books or movies(full metal jacket, platoon etc) i like that this book doesn't have a message like that. the objectiveness allows it to just tell the story and let the reader create their own thoughts

Band of brothers has been an interesting experience, I never thought that I would like nonfiction. nonfiction has always been an issue for me, I never liked the expository language of textbooks, and related all nonfiction to that. this book is different, and I like that. the book is told in a story like way, almost like a fiction book. I learned what kind of book I like.
